Waitrose Community Matters Green Token

The Fundraising Committee would like everyone to be aware that at the Waitrose store in Tonbridge, Bidborough Sports Association (aka the Pavilion Fund) has a community matters green token collection box by the tills. This basically means when people shop there, they get a token(s) depending on how much they spend and can choose the local good cause to donate token to. I am sure you are familiar with this concept.

Tokens = cash for BCC so please try and shop there (it is not that expensive I am told!) and encourage others to do so whilst it is still live. Not sure when it ends as they have not told us so get shopping/spread the word.

Summer Social, Saturday 5th August

Saturday, 5th August is the Summer Social at the ANG.  It was a huge success last year and raised a lot of money for the club.  There will be music, a bar and a BBQ as well as volleyball and a Beer Pong tournament.  Starting after the Saturday fixtures at around 7.30pm, all club members, family and friends are welcome and indeed are encouraged to attend!  For the more outgoing of you there is also a prize for fancy dress!  Simply turn up wearing anything starting with the letters T, C or P to qualify!!  We look forward to seeing you all there after the matches!

Therefore on the day we are looking raise as much money as we can. We will be running a bar and BBQ all day, so bring as many spectators down as possible. We also need volunteers to take turns in running the bar and BBQ, so please let Chris Wallington know if you are able to get involved on the day.

It takes a lot of arranging so if you are looking to play on the day please let Chris know ASAP. Even if you have already said you want to play, please confirm via email or text 07701 387138.
