We are recruiting!

We have some vacancies in our thriving Junior Section!

This is exciting news as we often run with waiting lists for our weekly coaching sessions and competitive summer league cricket.

Winter nets and coaching are already under way.

The Under 11 and Under 13 groups net at Judd School in Tonbridge and the Under 15s at St John’s Sports Centre in Tunbridge Wells, both on Friday evenings.

Please contact our Junior Manager suesteptowe@hotmail.com for further details.

BCC All Stars & Dynamos 2020

BCC All Stars & Dynamos 2020

We’re delighted to announce that we are running the ECB All Stars programme for our third year. Aimed at girls and boys aged between 5-8, it is a fantastic introduction to cricket and a chance to learn in a fun and friendly environment. The All Stars programme is led by 2nd Xl opening batsman, Miga Steyn, and will take place every Friday from May 15th for 8 weeks between 5.30-6.30pm at the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground.

You can book your child on the course by clicking here, and if you have any questions you can email Miga here.

We’re also excited to announce that we will also be running the brand new ECB Dynamos course. This is aimed at boys and girls aged between 8-11 year, and is a progression from All Stars. 2nd Xl all-rounder, James Poulsom, will be the lead coach, and the sessions take place every Friday from May 15 for 8 weeks between 5.30-7pm at the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground.

You can book your child on the course by clicking here, and if you have any questions you can email James here.

If your child has previously done All Stars, and you can’t make Thursday evenings, we may be able accommodate them on the Dynamos course. In accordance with ECB guidelines, we have to take age and ability into account in these situations.

We’re always looking for parents to offer support to the coaches, so please let us know if you would like to get involved. We look forward to seeing you in May.

Regards, BCC Junior Committee.

Bidborough U15 A’s Premier League Champions

Bidborough U15 A’s Premier League Champions

The u15 A’s match vs Tunbridge Wells turned into a real battle against daylight with Bidborough losing by 3 runs. Battling it out in the closing minutes of daylight in the last overs of the match. Although we were all disappointed at not remaining unbeaten, the closeness of the match means Bidborough gain 7 bonus points against the 1 point bonus Tunbridge Wells gained after Bidborough’s easy win at home. In short meaning Bidborough u15A’s are the u15 premier league champions.
