We are recruiting!

We have some vacancies in our thriving Junior Section!

This is exciting news as we often run with waiting lists for our weekly coaching sessions and competitive summer league cricket.

Winter nets and coaching are already under way.

The Under 11 and Under 13 groups net at Judd School in Tonbridge and the Under 15s at St John’s Sports Centre in Tunbridge Wells, both on Friday evenings.

Please contact our Junior Manager suesteptowe@hotmail.com for further details.

Winter Nets

At long last we can start to prepare for cricket in 2022!

Pre-season nets for all Senior and Under 15 players will be on Friday evenings between 7 and 8 pm at St John’s Sports Centre. Sessions start on Friday 14th January and run for ten weeks with a gap for February half term, so no nets on 11th or 18th February.

The cost is £5.00 per session, and we should finish in plenty of time for a visit to the pub.

Please come along if you are interested in joining us for the first time, our skipper is Dale Hillhouse and he can be contacted on dalejhillhouse@gmail.com

Awards Dinner 2021

This year’s end of season awards dinner is almost upon us!

Friday 12th November is the big day. We will be at the George & Dragon, Speldhurst, from 7pm. Tickets are £40.00 for a three course dinner and are strictly limited as the venue can only cater for 60 guests.

Please contact Chris Wallington for your ticket chriswally84@googlemail.com

We will be holding a larger event in the spring to set us up for what will hopefully be a normal season.

Home Again

Weather permitting the Firsts are at home again tomorrow, Saturday 19th June against Division One newcomers Locksbottom. The match starts at 1.30 pm at the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground and all visitors and supporters are welcome.

Normal Service Resumed

A comprehensive victory at Linton Park for the Firsts, with several youngsters stepping up to fill gaps and not looking out of place. Dale lost the toss as per usual so we bowled and an excellent all round effort saw Linton Park all out for just 86, a total we were able to knock off in just 17 overs. And best of all, no injuries!
